Menu & Dishes of Strandperle Zippendorf: Regional Cuisine, Cakes, and Ice Cream
The menu of Strandperle Zippendorf is characterized by regional, fresh, and seasonal offerings – and that is exactly what makes its charm. The team explicitly points out that the menu changes regularly to make the seasons tasteable on the plate. What remains constant is the commitment: handcrafted dishes made from quality ingredients and an honest, down-to-earth flavor profile. In addition to the published menu, there is a board with daily specials that can vary depending on market conditions, catch, and season. Those who stop by in the afternoon can enjoy a changing selection of homemade cakes starting at 2:00 PM – classics like Black Forest cake or cheesecake evoke feelings of nostalgia, while apple or plum crumble cake follow the seasonal rhythm. For ice cream lovers, there are flavors from the Rostock ice cream factory that can also be enjoyed “to go” along the promenade. The range of savory dishes is showcased in examples from the gallery and the seasonal notes of the house: from Mecklenburg classics like kale with Kassler and sausage or a juicy rolled roast with prunes to a crispy pork knuckle with pineapple sauerkraut and pea puree, as well as creamy tagliatelle with cream mushrooms and chicken breast. Fish lovers can find cod fillet with mustard sauce; soups like a creamy tomato soup with parmesan and toasted bread complement the repertoire. Lighter options like baked potatoes also appear seasonally. A charming detail: the team accommodates individual requests as much as possible – other side dishes or smaller portions can be arranged upon request. Because the menu and board are intentionally dynamic, the version in the restaurant applies in case of doubt. Those planning their visit can get an impression online in advance and discover the current selection on-site; thus, reliability combines with the pleasant surprise of the daily dish.

Perfect service, very good KiBa and Marzipan pie. The people owning the place and working there are truly kind, they even let me play a few songs on one of their instruments (guitar). Also, such an outstanding/interesting indoor layout for a restaurant (art pieces + global) 👍🏻 Spotless place! That's definitely a very good surprise at the end of a fine sandy beach 👌🏻
