The official website describes table as coworking, events & café directly in the Schwerin city center; in addition, there are flexible workspaces, a cozy dining area, bookable rooms, and changing events. Particularly helpful is the central location near the Schlosspark-Center, making it easily accessible for day guests, freelancers, teams, and visitors from the region. The mix of specialty coffee, a quiet working atmosphere, and a communal character also shapes the appearance. table is thus a place for all who do not want to separate productivity and enjoyment, but rather consciously connect them. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
Coworking in the Heart of Schwerin: flexible workspaces, Wi-Fi, and quiet zones
The heart of table is the coworking offering. Visitors can spontaneously drop by, grab their coffee, and use a workspace without creating a classic office atmosphere. The website emphasizes that you can flexibly grab a table and get started; for day guests, there are Wi-Fi rates including printing, while frequent users benefit from memberships and 10-visit cards. Particularly relevant for search queries related to coworking Schwerin is the combination of a central location, uncomplicated access, and an atmosphere that feels more like an open, friendly workspace than a rigid office complex. The membership models underline exactly this approach: With Work-Coffee-Balance and Boost your Work, table targets coffee lovers, students, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and startups. The offering includes Wi-Fi flat rate, one hot drink per day, community events, and even earlier access via smart lock for higher rates. For many users, this is a practical middle ground between home office and classic rental office, as it combines reliability, exchange, and urban proximity. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
The business side also shows that table does not see coworking as a side show, but as a professional work model with a clear structure. Coworking is described there as a flexible solution for hybrid teams and project-based work. The price of 75 euros per person per month, access from 7 a.m., as well as Wi-Fi and coffee included, make it clear that the location is also interesting for longer work routines. At the same time, table highlights the quiet, ergonomic workspace in the city center, which is particularly important for freelancers and small teams who want to work visibly but not in isolation in Schwerin. This balance of openness and concentration makes the location attractive: creative work during the day, coffee in between, an event or a meeting in the evening, and short breaks without changing locations. For users with search intentions around temporary office, flexible work, or coworking café in Schwerin, table is therefore a very suitable meeting point. ([en.table.space](https://en.table.space/business))
Café, Specialty Coffee, and Small Breaks with Regional Flavor
In addition to the workspace, the café area plays a central role. table explicitly sees itself as a coworking café and focuses on specialty coffee, tea, matcha, chai, lemonades, and seasonal surprises. This makes the location interesting not only for working guests but also for people who consciously want to enjoy a good coffee, take a short break from everyday life, or have a quiet conversation in the city center. The website also emphasizes that regional roasts from Wismar and Lübeck are served, specifically from fika and cycle roasters. This proximity to local partners strengthens the profile of the house as a regionally rooted address with a quality claim. For visitors looking for a café in Schwerin, this is helpful because table does not rely on quick mass processing but on transparency, good products, and a relaxed environment. This is complemented by the option to take beans and equipment home. This makes table relevant for coffee lovers who not only consume but also want to engage more with preparation, beans, and flavor. Especially in combination with the coworking character, a rare mix of café, workspace, and specialist contact point for specialty coffee emerges. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
The gastronomic character of the place is also clearly described on the city side of Schwerin: there is talk of coffee, snacks, drinks, macarons, sustainable and regional delicacies, as well as high-speed Wi-Fi. This confirms the impression of a place where work and enjoyment are not separated but complement each other. Especially for guests who need a quiet place in the city center for a short meeting, to tackle a bundle of emails, or just to relax, this café atmosphere is a real advantage. Additionally, table does not only function as a supply location but as a pleasant third place between home and office. So, anyone looking for a modern café with Wi-Fi, good accessibility, and added value will find here much more than just a coffee bar. The combination of drinks, snacks, atmosphere, and work options is the real added value of the location. Meeting Rooms, Private Office, and Business Services for Teams
An important part of table is the offering for meetings, client appointments, and focused work in smaller circles. The website presents 'Pinky and the Brain', a creative meeting room that is about 80 square meters large and equipped with a large wooden conference table, seating stools, chairs, smart board, flip chart, pinboards, moderation cases, and projector. Coffee and snacks are also mentioned, making the room particularly practical for workshops, strategy meetings, and team days. Also available is 'The Office', a private office with a height-adjustable desk, screen, ergonomic office chair, and two armchairs. For search queries related to meeting room Schwerin or private office Schwerin, this is highly relevant because table does not only offer a table in the café but clearly described, bookable work and meeting rooms. The business side complements this picture with flexible models for companies, coaching offices, regular client appointments, and hybrid teams. Among other things, meeting room packages, advertising and visibility options, and virtual office solutions are shown. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
Particularly interesting are the specific business solutions: Virtual Office costs 50 euros per month and includes a business address in the Schlosspark-Center as well as mail reception by the table team. The 'Advertising & Visibility' package is priced at 150 euros per month and offers, among other things, a logo in the window area, presentations via the projector in the café, and a mention in the newsletter. The meeting room rate of 200 euros per month is intended for regular client appointments or team meetings and includes eight hours of conference room 'Pinky & The Brain' or ten hours of single office 'The Office' with coaching corner. In addition, there is the coworking subscription for 75 euros per person per month. These clear, modular offers show that table is not only creative but also entrepreneurial. For startups, solo freelancers, and small teams, this is particularly attractive because they do not need a large office space but still want a representative appearance and professional infrastructure. ([en.table.space](https://en.table.space/business))
The flexible pricing structure for coworking fits into this as well. In addition to memberships, 10-visit cards are offered: 45 euros for half a day and 90 euros for a full day. This is interesting for people who do not need an external workspace every day but regularly. In combination with Wi-Fi, coffee, and the quieter areas, a flexibly scalable work environment emerges. Those with search intentions like temporary office, flexible workspace, coaching room, or meeting in Schwerin will find a very concrete answer at table. The location is thus suitable for both spontaneous individual visits and regular, planned use. This range makes the location an important building block in modern working life. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/shop))
Events, Workshops, and Community around table
table is not only a place to work but also a small event and community stage. The city side already describes the house as a place for workshops, flea markets, pub quizzes, regulars' table meetings, business punk, and other encounter formats. The official website continues this profile by regularly showcasing events, after-work formats, and community meetings. This makes table relevant for users with search interests in events Schwerin or event location Schwerin, although the location is not a classic hall operation in its basic idea. Especially the mix of low-threshold formats and personal atmosphere is what makes it appealing. It is not about large show technology or mass events, but about formats where encounters, exchange, and a friendly framework are in the foreground. This type of program makes sense for Schwerin because it enlivens the city center while remaining flexible. Those looking for a place for small events, creative meetings, or informal business formats will find a suitable address at table. ([cms.schwerin.de](https://cms.schwerin.de/kultur-tourismus/erlebnisse-in-schwerin/gastronomie/table-schwerin/))
That community is not an empty word here is also shown by the positioning on the website: For frequent users, member areas, earlier access, and discounted room rentals are mentioned, as well as community events depending on the offer. This indicates a solid, recurring user base that does not just visit the place once but uses it regularly. In the event context, many small details are also important: good drinks, snacks, quiet corners, central location, and the opportunity to continue working or have another coffee afterward. This creates formats that fit organically into the daily routine. A networking meeting does not have to move to a separate convention center here but can take place directly in the coworking café. That is why table fits well with search terms like workshops Schwerin, regulars' table Schwerin, or after work Schwerin. The location does not offer an artificial event world but a very real, practical platform for exchange and communal use. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
An additional feature is the playful character. The city side explicitly mentions table tennis as part of the offering, and the website describes the atmosphere as relaxed, central, and uncomplicated. This little touch of lightness is important for community places because it lowers barriers. People come not only to be productive but also to feel comfortable, make contacts, and take a few minutes to unwind. Especially in formats like pub quizzes, business meetings, or creative workshops, this creates an environment that feels less formal and thus often more binding. table does not see event culture as a foreign body but as a natural extension of the coworking concept. The result is a place where work, exchange, and leisure intertwine. ([cms.schwerin.de](https://cms.schwerin.de/kultur-tourismus/erlebnisse-in-schwerin/gastronomie/table-schwerin/))
Directions, Parking, and Opening Hours on Wittenburger Straße
For many visitors, practical accessibility is crucial. table is located at Wittenburger Str. 16a/b in 19053 Schwerin and is, according to the official website, directly in the city center. Particularly helpful is the note that cars can be parked in the Schlosspark-Center parking garage and bicycles are welcome right at the door. This covers two important mobility patterns: quick access by car and particularly easy use by bike. Especially in a city center location, this is a clear advantage because visitors can arrive without a long search for parking. The location near the Schlosspark-Center further strengthens the site, as it is associated with not only a well-known shopping environment but also a central orientation in the urban structure. Those heading to table for a meeting, a workday, or a coffee break thus benefit from a very practical proximity to the city. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
The official opening hours on the website are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. At the same time, table points out that times may vary for events and rentals. This is important for planning because the place combines several usage types and therefore does not always operate according to a rigid café rhythm. For day guests, this mainly means: check briefly in advance if an appointment is planned outside the standard hours. For regular users, the subscriptions offer additional benefits, such as earlier access via smart lock at 'Boost your Work'. From an SEO perspective, this particularly covers search intentions like opening hours Schwerin, parking Schwerin, and directions Schwerin. Content-wise, this shows a city location that consciously focuses on uncomplicated accessibility. It is not remote and not complicated to organize, but designed so that it can be quickly integrated into everyday life. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
The direct integration into the city center context is also important. The website describes table as a place where one moves between city stroll, coworking, and coffee break. This mix makes the location so easily findable and usable. Visitors looking for an address that works not only via navigation but is also embedded in an urban environment find a comprehensible, easily accessible solution here. This applies to individuals as well as small teams who want to practically organize arrival, departure, and possible breaks. The combination of a central location, parking garage, bike-friendliness, and clear opening hours is therefore a real plus for any use. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
History of table: Opening in 2019, Move in 2024, and New Presence
The history of table begins in 2019. According to the IHK Schwerin, the coworking café opened on July 26, 2019, at Martinstraße 11 in Schwerin, after founder Elisa Witt succeeded with the concept in the IHK competition 'Successful Space Old Town'. The IHK describes the idea as a mix of café, bar, event space, and temporary workplace. In 2024, the expansion and move to Wittenburger Str. 16a/b followed. This development is important for the classification of the location because it shows that table is not a random project but a concept built over years with growth and adaptation to new spatial requirements. For visitors and seekers, this means: The brand is rooted in Schwerin and has a comprehensible origin story. ([ihk.de](https://www.ihk.de/schwerin/standort-westmecklenburg/handel-und-stadtentwicklung/ihk-handel/wettbewerb-erfolgsraum-altstadt/wettbewerb2019/coworking-table-opens-4492626))
The official website also picks up on this development. There, 2024 is highlighted as 'ReOpening2024', meaning a restart in a new, larger, or differently used form. At the same time, the footer of the website shows the note '©2019 by Elisa Witt', which underscores the continuity of the project. This connection of founding, moving, and reopening is very helpful for the perception of the brand because it explains why the location appears so diverse today. From a creative startup and community concept, a professional coworking and café place has emerged that unites various forms of use under one roof. This makes the story interesting for people who are not just looking for a space but also a place with personality and development. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
Content-wise, this development is also a good sign for the future viability of the location. Anyone active in Schwerin since 2019, expanding in 2024, and remaining present today with coworking, café, business services, and events demonstrates adaptability and clear positioning. Especially for seekers looking for a modern, vibrant place with local roots, this is a strong signal. table is thus not only a functional workplace but also an example of urban mixed-use in Schwerin. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
Table Tennis, Creative Extras, and the Special Atmosphere
A special part of table's profile is the atmosphere. The city side explicitly emphasizes fun, table tennis, meetings, events, and workshops, while the website conveys a calm, zen-like, and yet communal mood. This initially sounds like a contrast but works well for that reason: concentration and relaxation do not stand against each other but next to each other. In practice, this means that you can work here without feeling constrained and at the same time experience enough social openness to engage in conversation. The location in the city center makes the place lively because visits, work, and short breaks naturally flow together. For those looking for a coworking café with character, this is often the decisive difference from neutral office spaces. ([cms.schwerin.de](https://cms.schwerin.de/kultur-tourismus/erlebnisse-in-schwerin/gastronomie/table-schwerin/))
The details also contribute to the special effect. The website refers to many seating options, a soundproof booth, a member area, and a pleasant mix of music, drinks, and good vibes. This makes table particularly attractive for longer stays because you do not have to leave the place after a short time. Those switching between focused work, phone calls, breaks, and exchanges find various zones and forms of use here. This is especially relevant for freelancers, founders, teams, and hybrid work models that do not need the same thing every day. table does not provide a rigid office concept but a lively infrastructure with a human touch. This combination of practical equipment, central location, and friendly atmosphere makes the location a strong answer to many different search queries. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
So, anyone visiting table in Schwerin experiences not just a place to sit but a place with rhythm: coffee in the morning, focused work in the morning, meetings in the afternoon, events in the evening. This usage logic fits very well with a city center location that does not want to limit itself to a single function. That is where the strength of the location lies. It is flexible, urban, friendly, and clearly positioned. This makes table interesting for both first-time visitors and regular users and ensures that the place is perceived as a modern meeting point in Schwerin. ([table.space](https://www.table.space/))
Who table is Particularly Good For
table is especially interesting for people looking for a place that adapts to everyday life rather than interrupting it. Freelancers benefit from the combination of Wi-Fi, coffee, quiet zones, and flexible rates. Students and freelancers find an environment where they can either stay spontaneously or plan with a membership. Companies and startups, on the other hand, get a solution with virtual office, meeting room, visibility options, and coworking packages that appears professional without being inflexible. Visitors simply looking for a good café in Schwerin are also in the right place because the gastronomic offering does not exist separately from the working world but is connected to it. This versatility makes table so relevant and explains why the location is significant in such different search contexts. ([en.table.space](https://en.table.space/business))
Anyone visiting Schwerin and looking for a central, quiet, yet active address gets a place with multiple levels: working, drinking, meeting, planning, and relaxing. The location in the heart of the city, good accessibility, clear opening hours, and flexible room offerings make usage easy. Especially for those looking for coworking, café, meeting room, or event space in one sentence, table is a very good example of how modern city center locations can work. The location is not loud, not overloaded, and not interchangeable but consciously personal and versatile. That is why a visit is worthwhile.

([en.table.space](https://en.table.space/business))

table Schwerin | Coworking & Café
table in Schwerin is more than just a café and more than just a workplace: The location combines coworking, coffee culture, meetings, and community right in the city center. Those looking for a place where focused work, informal conversations, and relaxed breaks fit together will find an unusually versatile address here.
Nice to have a co-working space in the very city center with some good coffee as well. The place itself is very quiet - so for meetings, it is perhaps not ideal. It’s also rather small - but I guess it’s enough for Schwerin, given that I’ve never seen it crowded (all 3 times I stopped by). What is a definite downer is the staff - bad-mooded and not bothered with a “hi” or “bye” in return. But maybe it was just a bad day (or two bad days), since the rest of reviews highlight the friendliness. Might give it another chance when I’m around.

An excellent place to work and relax. A cool, zen vibe and a wonderful space to collaborate or get in your own space. The refreshments were tasty and there was a good variety. The service is good and you didn’t feel rushed or pushed to buy anything. I could spend hours there.

We love Tisch. Have been co-working here for a couple of months in the new building. Great space, great atmosphere, great people (made some new connections - German and international), great music, great drinks. Plenty of seating options, a sound proof cubicle, a members area, and more. Elisa has created an excellent space and community for businesses and remote working in Schwerin. Five stars.
