Illuminated Animal Worlds and Atmospheric Light Installations in the Zoo

WILD LIGHTS at Zoo Schwerin invites you to a special evening in the spirit of light, animals, and a winter atmosphere. Until November 29, 2026, Zoo Schwerin will transform into a glowing interactive world for visitors.

The focus of the evening light festival is on illuminated animal figures, which can be discovered along a circular path through the zoo. The experience is complemented by various light installations that create an atmospheric backdrop and give the zoo visit a special evening mood.

A glowing circular path through the zoo

The circular path leads through the zoo grounds and connects the individual light motifs. Guests can experience WILD LIGHTS at their own pace and view the illuminated animal figures and installations from different perspectives. This makes the festival especially suitable for a relaxed evening walk in an extraordinary setting.

WILD LIGHTS is aimed at everyone who wants to experience Zoo Schwerin in a different atmosphere. The interplay of animal motifs, light, and the evening walk makes the event a delightful outing destination in Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
