Elke Winter makes Schwerin sparkle, laugh, and marvel

When Elke Winter steps on stage, everyday life gets an extra dose of blush, self-irony, and witty punchlines. With her program “In the Past Everything Was Better!”, the live drag artist will perform on October 15, 2027, at SPEICHER Schwerin, combining humor, songs, and personal stories into a spirited plea for more lightness.

Drag with attitude and hearty humor

Elke Winter looks back at the 80s and 90s without getting stuck in nostalgic cotton candy. Her gaze focuses on what seemed more relaxed, direct, and perhaps a little bit better back then. Between everyday satire, self-irony, and musical moments, a comedy atmosphere emerges where laughter does not come on cue but breaks out from the audience naturally.

Punchlines, songs, and a strong stage presence

The program thrives on the interplay of stand-up, drag shows, and musical entertainment. Elke Winter uses her exciting biography as material for stories about desire, love, passion, and the small burdens of modern life. Her timing is spot on, the interaction feels immediate, and every audience reaction is given space. In short: Here, cabaret meets glamour – with more sequins than an average wardrobe can handle.

A career full of stage moments

Elke Winter has gathered international stage experience in Las Vegas and later became known through engagements at the Hamburg Schmidt Theater, in the Pulverfass, and in the Schmidt Midnight Show. As an entertainer, she combines comedy, singing, and drag into a unique live experience. Her shows rely on direct address, pointed observations, and the courage to laugh at herself.

An evening for more lightness

“In the Past Everything Was Better!” serves as a reminder that humor often remains the most elegant response to life’s challenges. The audience can expect an energetic laughter experience filled with songs, charm, cheeky takes on the zeitgeist, and an artist who knows exactly how to entertain a room.

Conclusion: Those who enjoy drag comedy, musical entertainment, and a strong dose of self-irony will experience an evening at SPEICHER Schwerin with sparkling stage presence and perfectly timed punchlines. Seeing Elke Winter live means: out of the everyday, into the spotlight, and laughing together until even worries wear glitter.
