"The First Best": When the best jokes come first

What happens when a battle-tested stage duo brings their favorite numbers from 18 centuries to the stage? Exactly: history gets timing, adventure gets punchline, and Schwerin gets an evening where the diaphragm is guaranteed not to be idle. Carolin Fischer and Ralf Bärwolff present their program "The First Best" at Speicher, together with pianist Enrico Wirth.

Cabaret with 18 centuries of stage experience

"The First Best" playfully engages with the idea of always choosing the best. The two ensemble members of the Leipzig academixer combine stand-up elements, classic cabaret, musical accents, and pointed scenes into a varied laughter experience. Foreign countries, familiar situations, and human weaknesses provide the material for an evening full of pace and surprising twists.

Punchlines, timing, and strong stage chemistry

Carolin Fischer and Ralf Bärwolff represent precise timing, visible enjoyment of play, and a stage presence that elevates even small gestures to a grand scene. Their interaction thrives on the quick switch between observation, exaggeration, and dry commentary. When one punchline lands, the next often follows with the momentum of a well-spirited stage skirmish.

Music, facial expressions, and the art of the right moment

Pianist Enrico Wirth accompanies the duo and sets musical accents that further enliven the cabaret evening. Between linguistic sharpness, situational comedy, and musical play, a lively comedy atmosphere emerges. The audience experiences not a standard program but a carefully timed mix of theater, cabaret, and comedic interaction.
