ffortissibros brings award-winning men's choir music to E-Werk
On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the men's chamber choir ffortissibros returns to its hometown of Schwerin. The audience at E-Werk can look forward to a concert featuring sophisticated men's choir music that connects the Renaissance and modernity.
Powerful Sound Journey through Music History
The program takes listeners through several centuries of choral music, blending historical sound languages with contemporary ensemble art. Precise intonation, clear synchronization, and a balanced orchestration of male voices characterize the choir's distinctive sound. In the unique acoustics of E-Werk, an immediate live atmosphere is created, where each vocal color has its own space.
A Multi-Awarded Ensemble
ffortissibros was founded in 2019 in Schwerin and has made a name for itself beyond the region with exceptional musical performances. At the German Choir Competition 2023, the ensemble won first prize in the category of men's choirs. At the Grand Prix of Nations Mauritius 2025, the choir also triumphed in the category of sacred music and achieved the highest score of the entire international competition.
Home Game with Special Audience Atmosphere
The return to Schwerin adds a special emotional tension to the concert. Young singers meet an audience that has followed the development of the ensemble from its hometown. Amid powerful tutti passages, finely graded dynamic transitions, and focused stage performance, a concert experience unfolds that makes the versatility of men's choral literature audible.
