Working Together: The Schwerin Zoo Prepares for Winter
As the autumn leaves gather on the paths and nature is bathed in warm colors, the Schwerin Zoo invites you to the public autumn cleanup. On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the zoo grounds will transform into a collaborative worksite for volunteers.
Autumn Air, Leaves, and Collective Engagement
The focus is on working together outdoors. Many helping hands will shape the zoo grounds step by step, creating a well-maintained environment for animals, staff, and guests. The event combines nature experiences, active participation, and a genuine connection with the zoo.
A Meaningful Event Experience
The public autumn cleanup stands for sustainable engagement and a practical form of community. Between autumnal paths, trees, and animal inhabitants, a special event atmosphere arises where organization, teamwork, and environmental awareness come together. The zoo's event management relies on direct target group communication: People who want to actively shape their Saturday and make a difference for the Schwerin Zoo are welcome.
