Cycle for Climate Protection - Join Us!

From June 1 to June 21, 2026, the popular "STADTRADELN" will take place in Schwerin, a campaign to promote climate protection through the use of bicycles as an environmentally friendly mode of transport. All citizens of the city can record their cycling kilometers online and thus make an active contribution to climate protection.

Opening Tour and Meeting Point

To kick off the event, a joint cycling tour will be organized on June 1. The meeting point for all participants is at the market in Schwerin. This cycling tour provides the perfect opportunity to strengthen community and environmental awareness while experiencing the beauty of the city on a bicycle.

How does STADTRADELN work?

During the campaign period, the kilometers ridden by all participants will be recorded. Both private routes and the daily commute to work are encouraged. The goal is to accumulate as many kilometers as possible while reducing CO₂ emissions.
