Breakin' Circus brings explosive urban dance energy to Schwerin
On November 12, 2026, the Schwerin Sports and Congress Hall will transform into a pulsating stage for breakdance, hip-hop culture, and world-class acrobatics. The DDC, two-time breakdance world champion and internationally acclaimed show act, presents Breakin' Circus, a modern circus experience full of movement, rhythm, and spectacular effects.
When breakdance meets acrobatics
The production combines powerful urban dance choreographies with high-caliber circus artistry and live music. Bodies become rhythmic instruments, jumps draw glowing lines in the space, and every movement drives the dramaturgy further. From the precision of breakdance arises a stage experience that merges athletic mastery with theatrical performance art.
A stage under electricity
The focus is on the energy of the dancers, the interplay of light and acoustics, and a stage set that supports the dynamic character of the production. The DDC relies on new choreographies, visual effects, and a fast-paced direction that alternates the evening swiftly between acrobatic tension, musical drive, and surprising moments.
DDC: Breakdance as stage art
The DDC has evolved from the breakdance culture into an internationally recognized show ensemble. Their productions demonstrate how street dance, classical stage art, and acrobatics come together to form an independent style of contemporary entertainment. Breakin' Circus continues this line and transforms urban movement into a grand, audience-friendly theater event.
Conclusion: An evening full of dynamics
The audience can expect an explosive mix of breakdance, acrobatics, live music, and visual effects. Those who experience the DDC live will encounter a production where athletic precision, the art of the body, and immediate audience reaction find a common rhythm. Secure tickets and experience the stage experience live on November 12, 2026, in Schwerin.
