Around the Christmas Tree: Musical Anticipation at the Schleifmühle Schwerin
When the autumn gold fades and November calls for candlelight, the concert Around the Christmas Tree on November 15, 2026, brings a warm, pre-Christmas atmosphere to Schwerin. Eckhart Möbius will create the musical afternoon together with his daughter Anne Christin and his son Stefan at the Schleifmüllerhaus of the Schleifmühle Museum.
Music, Stories, and Childhood Memories
The program combines music and stories revolving around the Christmas season. Familiar images of pine scent, candlelight, and family closeness are at the center. The unique acoustics of the historical museum setting create an intimate frame for a mood-enhancing concert experience that consciously focuses on closeness and audience mood.
A Concert in the Historic Schleifmüllerhaus
The Schleifmühle Schwerin, with its historical water mill tradition, forms an extraordinary backdrop. For centuries, the undershot water wheel has shaped the place by the Fauler See. For the concert afternoon, the warm room of the Schleifmüllerhaus opens as a protected space for music, stories, and pre-Christmas encounters.
Pre-Christmas Live Atmosphere
Eckhart Möbius, known as a doctor and musician, performs on stage together with Anne Christin and Stefan Möbius. The family interplay promises a personal stage performance with musical warmth and a direct connection to the audience. Coffee and mulled wine enhance the experience and extend the cozy atmosphere beyond the concert moment.
Conclusion: A Special Afternoon for Music Lovers
Around the Christmas Tree invites you to a relaxed concert experience between autumn and Advent. Those who wish to experience music, stories, and a historical atmosphere in a smaller setting will find a charming gathering place at the Schleifmühle Schwerin on November 15, 2026. Tickets are available in advance at the Schleifmühle box office.
