STILLNESS in Schwerin: When photographs become audible
Stillness is by no means nothing. The exhibition STILLNESS at the MV-Fotogalerie Schwerin invites you to feel the quiet undertones of photographic images and to consciously slow down familiar perceptions. From November 1 to November 29, 2026, a concentrated event experience will emerge on Puschkinstraße for all who wish to not just look at photography but to experience it intensely.
An exhibition visit with space for personal thoughts
Between the image surface, light, and the ambiance of the gallery, a special event atmosphere develops. The exhibition does not rely on loud staging but on the quiet dialogue between the subject and the audience. Every glance is given time, every detail is allowed to resonate.
Photography as conscious perception
The exhibition shows how much expression lies in reduced moments. Shapes, contrasts, and photographic compositions open different approaches to tranquility, closeness, and inner movement. Thus, the gallery visit becomes an invitation to leave everyday life behind for a moment.
Event planning and opening hours
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Afterwards, STILLNESS can be seen until November 29, 2026, at the MV-Fotogalerie. The organizer is MV-Foto e.V. The gallery is located in the courtyard of the Schelfschule or Adult Education Center at Puschkinstraße 13.
Conclusion: A quiet highlight for photography fans
Visitors can expect a slowed-down exhibition experience with space for personal impressions, focused seeing, and stimulating conversations.
